- I was the Data Manager for Boeing back in the day.Taught myself to program in "basic" talking to a mainframe using a teletype machine.I bought a Commodore PET in 1975 and have had a computer ever since. I've discovered that many seniors my age know little more about computers than just how to e-mail. The internet as I'm learning is far far greater than the "Great Library of Alexandria".For me every day is a new voyage of discovery and I want to enliven other seniors to what's out there
